GRA:Like hell they weren't.Seeing their husband and father gunned down is possibly more injurious than what the husband received. They have to live with that sight and the aftereffects of his murder for the rest of their lives.
He's gone--they are not.They WERE injured.

This is a death penalty case. Children the home makes in an aggravated offense. It is Texas. Death in this case is warranted.
