For the Files: Cop Shoots White Guy Named "Kevin"

In 2012, for no legitimate journalistic reason, CNN and other liberal media turned the Trayvon Martin shooting into national news. The whole point of that saturation coverage was politics -- "energize" the black vote for Obama's reelection campaign. Once the election was over, everybody forgot about Trayvon until the trial came up and (not surprisingly, given the evidence) George Zimmerman was acquitted.

That became the first occasion of #BlackLivesMatter as a hashtag slogan. Next, what happened? In the late summer of 2014, as Democrats were preparing to defend their Senate majority in the upcoming fall campaign, the media turned the shooting of Michael Brown into a national story. That was when #BlackLivesMatter gained major funding as a national movement from (among others) George Soros. The idea was to help Democrats win elections. If you will recall 2016, #BlackLivesMatter protests were everywhere, including a September riot in Charlotte, N.C.

It's strictly an election-year hustle for Democrats. You'll never see CNN nationalizing any of these stories in an odd-number year.
