And I am reading the biography of a Navajo man and he mentioned two Ute children held by Navajos as slaves--and this is long after the civil war. And when a Navajo slaveholder died, his slaves might be killed to accompany him. Meanwhile, in Chinatowns Chinese are enslaved by the smugglers who brought them in illegally. In Africa, the Middle East, and Asian, slavery continues to this day--especially in China.
