This is a superb paper. It is an excellent takedown of population growth Ponzi economics and intellectual dishonesty among so-called environmentalists who avoid the population issue. I especially like it how she argues that third world population growth is at least as ecologically detrimental as first world consumption.
Jane O'Sullivan is an Australian academic (University of Queensland) who writes cogently about population, environment, and sustainable development.
The attached article is from a 2020 issue of Ecological Economics.
"The number of people added to the world annually was creeping downward in the 1990s thanks to previous family planning efforts, but began to climb again from around 2000, and is now much nearer 90 million per annum than 80 million. UN estimates for global population in 2100 were revised upward, adding over two billion to the anticipated peak load of humanity (O'Sullivan, 2016)....Most of the extra population will be born in Africa, now projected to exceed four billion by 2100 instead of levelling around 2 billion. The prospects for Africans are greatly diminished as a result, and the risks to the global community from instability and mass exodus from Africa are heightened (Graves et al., 2019). This has been the price of political correctness."

No doubt,whites are just babysitting Europe and North America until Africa decides to pay us a visit with about 100 million savages on the first invasion.The Dems and Bill Gates' grandkids will organize the takeover.By then,other planets may be populated solely by whites with names like,Gates,Bezos III,Musk etc.
These guys are smart enough to realize that this planet cannot support billions of marauding,low IQ blacks--peripherally mingling with tech wizards--it just wouldn't be safe.So a migration of a few select whites will make voyages to other habitable planets--while tossing Earth to the former minority population,like a bone to gnaw on.
"On to the next evolutionary step elsewhere,"they'll laugh, as they board their personal rocketships to parts unknown(to Earth dwellers anyway).

3rd world population growth is "MORE" detrimental than 1st world consumption! That is because population can grow infinitely so the 3rd world, even with lower consumption, will inevitably outstrip planetary resources. With declining 1st world birthrates and more sustainable living practices the 1st world has a chance to strike a balance with ecological & living needs.
4 billion Africans and they will all be looking northward toward Europe.
Chinese and Indians if they attain an American standard of living will rip the world to pieces. Ecology and saving the planet white man juju.
Population increase YES but not for whitey. Population DECLINE for whitey.
