Fortune 500 CEOs Use H-1B Visa Workers to Grow Bonded-Labor Workforce

Hundreds of thousands of Indian contract workers are tied to their U.S. employers for years because U.S. companies have offered them green cards.

And folks wonder why I got out of IT and into financial services sales.

Say, I just did mortgage refinances for two different Indian nationals in North Carolina. Both of them are in IT.

In North Carolina.

They are everywhere.

Again, why am I not working in IT?

N.S.: I read an argument a day or two ago, whereby indentured servitude violates the 13th Amendment, the same amendment that ended slavery.

Chinese in the USA very big into indentured servitude. Seven years it takes to work off the debt to the "master", whoever that may be. Indians their IT skills very highly over-rated. Derbyshire says the same.
