White Mother, 19, of an “African American Child,” 4, Shot to Death in a Violent Neighborhood with Her New Black BF (Who was Wounded), but Her Mother Wants Us to Know that She’d Had No Gang Ties, and that the Solution to Such Violence is to Disarm All Law-Abiding White Gun-Owners; Racist Newspaper Silences Readers

Logan Nettleman at her high school graduation, in 2018

Logan Nettleman and her “African American child,” King. Why would The Oregonian protect the privacy of Nettleman’s baby daddy and present paramour, by neither naming nor depicting either, while publishing the name and picture of her already endangered son? I know, there I go again, asking for rhyme, reason, and decency from the evil media.

We just had another pretty young white girl murdered by a negro here in the progressive paradise of Portland, OR. Well, disclaimer here, the identity of the shooter is still not known but when you read the background of the story, it’s a good bet that the killer is black:

https://www.oregonlive.com/portland/2019/09/young-woman-killed-in-southeast-portland-wanted-to-be-the-best-mom-she-could-be-to-4-year-old-son.html

If I’m wrong, I’ll own it, but in these cases I rarely am.

It’s another white girl who was exclusively into black guys, and it cost her her life. She was 19-year-old Logan Nettleman, and she got pregnant at 15, then bore a black special needs baby (wouldn’t most black kids fit into that category in some way?). Details are still sketchy, but apparently she was alone in an apartment with another black guy named Deon, and his illegitimate kid, and they were both shot by somebody, the child was not harmed. Article mentioned passingly that the baby daddy had visited her briefly that week but didn't suggest he could have been involved.

Hmmm... she was with another brotha who is not the baby daddy and a potentially jealous ex isn’t the prime suspect? Interestingly, there is a quote in the article from the victim’s mother who said the police told her that: “They are not investigating the incident as a murder and attempted suicide.”

WTF does that mean? Oh well, it’s a white likely murdered by a negro, there’s always weirdness in how it’s dealt with. So much easier when it’s a whitey killer, then they can let loose with all sorts of vitriol, gotta be careful when it’s the blacks, you know how sensitive to them we’re supposed to be.

The apartments where it happened are very close to where I live, which is an area becoming more and more infested with negroes and migrants [illegal aliens], due to recent section 8 housing development in the area. Thank you, liberal immigrant-loving [illegal alien] politicians and city planners.

The Oregonian shut down the comments field almost immediately, likely because people just couldn't hold back on this one and the Big O hates truth.

N.S.: “when she discovered she was already 17 weeks pregnant.”

Who believes that? If you do, I’ve got a great deal for you on a slightly used bridge.

At that point, she’d have had morning sickness for about three months, and been showing for at least one. The vic’s lying, white trash mother, Mya Chamberlin, must have been the source for that claim.

And why do we not hear the name of the child’s model black father, and why was he not interviewed for the story?

“During Nettleton’s junior year at Madison, she entered a city-wide competition with an essay detailing what it was like being a young white woman raising an African American child.”

There’s so much wrong with the foregoing sentence, where to begin? She was not a woman, she was a 16 or 17-year-old kid. And how can a white female raise “an African American child,” unless he’s not hers? Then again, she wasn’t raising the child. Actually, it’s not at all clear who was raising the child; there’s a huge gap in the story from December 2015 to just before the mother got killed.

“‘There was at least a third party, and they won’t tell me whether or not there were more people than that,’ Chamberlin said. She also sought to shoot down rumors that her daughter had gang ties, ‘despite the location that she lived.’”

Another moronic lie. The circumstances, as “reported” by Michael Russell, positively scream, “Black gang killing!” (Unless, that is, as Jerry PDX suggested, the shooter was the Baby Daddy.) If her daughter hadn’t had gang ties, she’d still be alive. This woman has zero credibility.

“She was a student looking for an affordable apartment and it’s a hard part of town, but Logan is not involved in gang activity,” Chamberlin said.

“And she tied the shooting to the larger issue of gun violence in America, including a mass killing that left seven dead in West Texas the day after Nettleton’s death.

“‘We’re killing each other, and there’s the opportunity to do something about it but nobody seems very motivated, or at least the people who have the power to make change happen don’t seem motivated,’ Chamberlin said.”

At first, I assumed that this was white trash grandma’s idea, but on second thought, it’s very possible that The Oregonian’s fake news reporter, Michael Russell, had prompted the statement with a rhetorical question, along the lines of, ‘Do you see this gun violence as tied to the larger issue of gun violence in America, including the mass killing that left seven dead in West Texas the day after your daughter’s death?’

Don’t tell me fake news reporters don’t do that. They do it every day.

Back in 1985, when I came home after five years spent in West Germany, at first I couldn’t open a bank account. All the banks I’d visited required a “reference” from a previous bank. (I must have closed my previous American bank account, when I exhausted it in fall 1980.) Eventually, I found a Citibank (now Citigroup) that did not require a reference.

In the meantime, the political activists I was living with had reached out to a reporter buddy at The New York Times. He was doing a story on my problem, and interviewed me. However, when he learned that I had succeeded in opening an account without a refence at Citibank, he told me that he couldn’t use me, because my experience didn’t into his story.

Several years ago (2011, 2012?), a local reporter interviewed The Boss on the old-pre Hurricane Sandy wooden boardwalk in our neighborhood. He clearly didn’t like the answers she gave to his questions.

To tie this story to the slightly larger issue of The Oregonian’s racism, in early 2009, a VDARE reader made the mistake of contacting “reporter” Betsy Hammond at The Oregonian, in Portland, Oregon.

Hammond had editorialized in a screamingly racist, fake news article that Portland had way too many white people, and was a racist redoubt. “In a changing world, Portland remains overwhelmingly white.”

“The upshot is that the Portland metro area is startlingly [!] white viewed against the national landscape -- even whiter than Salt Lake City, according to the latest Census Bureau estimates. Metro Portland includes Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark counties.

“The implications are far-reaching.

“In today’s America, people of color make up more than 40 percent of a typical metro area’s population, an analysis by The Oregonian shows.
But in metro Portland, public policy still is controlled from a white point of view….”

“Portland’s lack of diversity means it is less cosmopolitan, less dynamic and at risk of being less competitive than other metro areas, worries David Bragdon, president of the Metro regional government….

“Portland-area employers competing for top talent have a hard time retaining African American hires, who often can’t bear the social and cultural isolation of a metro area that is less than 3 percent black.”

The VDARE reader, a transplanted Portlander living in Atlanta, criticized Hammond in a letter to VDARE, noting the repeated violent and property crimes he had suffered at the hands of Atlanta blacks, and offered to switch places with her.

The reader’s letter had been published by VDARE pseudonymously, and without naming the writer’s employer. However, the letter writer had made the mistake of showing Hammond the courtesy of writing to her under his own name, and mentioning the firm he worked for. Hammond responded by writing to the man’s employer, demanding that he fire the employee for his honesty, painting the employee as a racist for being honest about his experiences and his desire to protect his family, and attempting to blackmail the employer into firing the reader, by making a veiled threat to ruin his business by depicting him as employing racists, if he did not submit to her demand.

Fortunately, this particular employer did not submit; as Hammond well knew, most would have. [But that was in 2009. Today, I’m sure the employer would
submit.]

Young woman killed in Southeast Portland aimed to be “best mom she could” to special-needs son

Logan Nettleton, 19, shot and killed in Southeast Portland
By Michael Russell | The Oregonian/OregonLive

Logan Nettleton spent the past four years preparing for her son to be freed from his ventilator, a life-saving device that helped her premature baby breathe, but kept the now-toddler on a short tether.

She had two days.

King, 4, had his tracheotomy tube removed last month. Nettleton, 19, picked him up from her mother’s house on Tuesday, kept him overnight at her new apartment, played miniature golf with him on Wednesday, then dropped him back off with her mother that afternoon.

[She went four months--or was it almost four years--without the sick newborn to whom she was supposedly so devoted, but as soon as she got him, she dumped him on her mother, and disappeared for app. 36 hours, until she was murdered. But she wasn’t involved with drugs or gangs. Well, I don’t know about that, but I do know that she wasn’t involved in raising her sick child.]

Nettleton was gunned down before dawn Friday morning, one of two victims — the other still alive, but not yet publicly identified — shot at an apartment complex near Powell Butte. The suspect or suspects remain at large.

On Monday, family and friends continued to deal with the fallout from the shooting, which left King without a mother and the second victim, who family said was Nettleton’s boyfriend, with life-threatening injuries.

“Logan started walking at seven and a half months old,” Mya Chamberlin, Nettleton’s mother, told The Oregonian. “It just epitomizes who she was. She always needed to be on fast-forward.”

Nettleton attended Chapman Elementary and Hosford Middle schools. She was a basketball-loving 15-year-old on the varsity squad at Benson High School when she discovered she was already 17 weeks pregnant. Her water broke at 28 weeks. King arrived three weeks later, very premature and suffering from serious health problems.

Nettleton returned to school after the birth, transferring from Benson to Madison High School, where she planned to take advantage of a teen parent program that includes on-site daycare. But after King was born, he was taken to the neonatal intensive care unit, where he stayed for six months.

"The only babysitting that she’d done in her life happened the week before she found out she was pregnant,” Chamberlin said. “She had no idea what this meant. But she figured it out pretty quickly.”

By day, Nettleton took classes both online and on-site, pumped breast milk at school, froze it at home then brought it to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Southwest Portland, where it could be fed to King through a tube. King was discharged from the hospital in December of 2015.

King’s father was 16 at the time of the birth, and just as unprepared for parenthood as Nettleton. But after King was born, he was a consistently “positive” force in the boy’s life, Chamberlin said. He visited King on Friday.

[If King’s nameless father “was a consistently ‘positive’ force in the boy’s life,” then why wasn’t he with the child’s mother, raising him? According to Chamberlin, Nameless Rolling Stone had “visited King on Friday.” English translation: He hadn’t seen his sick toddler son any of the other six days that week. How many diapers had he ever changed for his son? Probably none.]

During Nettleton’s junior year at Madison, she entered a city-wide competition with an essay detailing what it was like being a young white woman raising an African American child. She won, earning an all-expenses paid trip to the South, where she visited historically black colleges and universities in Mississippi and Georgia and crossed the historic Selma Bridge.

After graduating, Nettleton attended Portland State University, focusing on Criminal, Race and Social Justice. She recently moved out of the family home to an apartment in the Centennial neighborhood.

According to Portland police, officers responded to reports of gunshots at the Foothills Apartment near 174th Avenue and Powell Boulevard about 3:30 a.m. Friday. There they found Nettleton dead, a man with multiple gunshot wounds and a young child who was not physically hurt.

The Portland Police Bureau declined to release the name of the second victim or his condition Monday. On Saturday, family friend Vaune Albanese identified the man by his first name, Deon, and said that the child in the apartment was his from a previous relationship.

Chamberlin confirmed that police told her they are not investigating the incident as a murder and attempted suicide.

"There was at least a third party, and they won’t tell me whether or not there were more people than that,” Chamberlin said. She also sought to shoot down rumors that her daughter had gang ties, "despite the location that she lived.”

“She was a student looking for an affordable apartment and it’s a hard part of town, but Logan is not involved in gang activity,” Chamberlin said.

And she tied the shooting to the larger issue of gun violence in America, including a mass killing that left seven dead in West Texas the day after Nettleton’s death.

“We’re killing each other, and there’s the opportunity to do something about it but nobody seems very motivated, or at least the people who have the power to make change happen don’t seem motivated,” Chamberlin said.

Three days after the shooting, Chamberlin reflected on her daughter’s short life and her recent efforts to "be the best mom that she could be” once King’s tracheotomy tube was removed.

“She spent the last several days planning and looking forward to being able to do the things that most parents get to do with their kiddos all the time,” Chamberlin said. "But her process has been delayed. And she’s been surging through the trauma, trauma that grown adults twice her age fight like hell to work through. And she was doing it as a child herself.”

“The reality is, we were all just getting to know Logan as an adult."

Nettleton is survived by her mother, Mya Chamberlin; father, John Nettleton; stepfather, James Shine; grandfather, Tom Chamberlin; and son, King. Memorial services have yet to be set, though a GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for her funeral expenses.

Logan Nettleman doesn't look white to me.

The picture of her holding the child..... she has an expression as if she had just got zonked.

To me Logan does not appear to be 100 % white.

Shootings can be gang related even if the vic is not a gang member. Better think the new "boyfriend" was gang involved in some manner.

These "white" girls sure seem to have a thing for negro males.

There are MSM lies, damn black lies and the truth(from NSU).
-variation of Benjamin Disraeli quote
Wherever you read about someone yelling that there's "too many white people" in an area, you are witnessing the early seeds of genocide.Just the fact that a supposed news publication would quote that garbage, shows which side of the fence they're on.
"Too many white people" is the most egregious example of hate speech one could ever see .Yet,I hear it often.Well, what are the purveyors of this philosophy planning on doing about "too many whites"?
It looks to me like
1)censor anti-black news(black crime of all types).Murders are downplayed.CNN and MSNBC NEVER discuss black crime, while NBC "Negro Nightly News" may show one a month--subliminally.
2)keep discussion of black on white crime that IS reported to a minimum--with comments closed(some b/on/w crime must be reported by its sheer significance, but only grudgingly).
3)Keep pushing "the whites are passe" theme
4)Exaggerate or invent white on black crimes.Report first, verify second. In all actuality, there's very little of it to report. The goal--when a scrap IS found--is to ignite blacks to hate whites (which they do already)to the next level up,that would induce rioting, revenge killings etc--which the media approves of ("whites deserve it").I've posted many stories by both national and local outlets with that goal in mind."An outrage",is what Lesta Holt calls it,when he wants to incite.
5)Make sure whites are less and less seen on the airwaves.Though only 12-15% of the population (I believe the next census will be much higher--near 20%)blacks are being spotlighted on television shows of all types as if they are 50%.An over-representation to say the least.
White replacement is the goal,by demographics in the short run and then I believe,by government sponsored violence.
