Keywords: melting pot assimilation

American institutions rest solely on good citizenship. They were created by people who had a background of self-government. New arrivals should be limited to our capacity to absorb them into the ranks of good citizenship. America must be kept American. For this purpose, it is necessary to continue a policy of restricted immigration. It would be well to make such immigration of a selective nature with some inspection at the source, and based either on a prior census or upon the record of naturalization. Either method would insure the admission of those with the largest capacity and best intention of becoming citizens. I am convinced that our present economic and social conditions warrant a limitation of those to be admitted. We should find additional safety in a law requiring the immediate registration of all aliens. Those who do not want to be partakers of the American spirit ought not to settle in America.

—President Calvin Coolidge, December 6, 1923

As the crisis at our southern border deepens, it is sometimes easy to forget how far-reaching the cultural impact of immigration can be. Even a place as distant and exclusive as the Hamptons has not been immune. With fancy summer homes and upscale shopping, Long Island’s northeastern coast has long been the seaside resort-of-choice for New York’s upper classes. It has also attracted immigrant workers.

When the 2008 recession hit, about two dozen day laborers in the Hamptons ran out of housing options and took refuge in some nearby campgrounds. They built fires, butchered a deer carcass, and slept on beds of old Budweiser boxes, all in the shadow of tony vacation homes and chic department stores. The New York Post ran the headline “Homeless in the Hamptons,” and residents were shocked at the squalor. Unsurprisingly, the sudden confluence of rich and poor caused social tensions, as angry homeowners worried about property values, and police monitored the campgrounds. Even after the recession ended, the familiar problems of overcrowded houses and schools continued to rankle the community.

Concerns about rising inequality and cultural balkanization due to immigration are often downplayed by policymakers and members of the media….

Under Aug 27th,"Nafta Kills..."I posted not only that our new black police chief,Payne, was turning Grand Rapids into a sanctuary shitty city,but...
...that same day our city commission unanimously passed an ordinance that "whites cannot call the police on blacks for unnecessary reasons--including racial bias--or a $500 fine may be meted out to white offenders."
As I said--passed UNANIMOUSLY.Not one white,of the three, who serve on the 6 member city commission, would object to this ordinance and vote against it.
Fake unity--I will try to vote the incumbent out from my ward,in the next election.
It's not a melting pot anymore,it's a stinking cesspool.

OMAR (IN BETWEEN BJs)DEMANDS UN TAKE OVER THE US SOUTHERN BORDER
Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

Rep. Ilhan Omar is demanding that the United Nations take control of the U.S. border with Mexico in a mirror of how Europe was inundated with migrants following lobbying from international bodies.

“We should do what any other country does by dealing with this situation in a serious way,” Omar said during an immigration forum in south Minneapolis.

“So, we have to bring in the United Nations high commissioner on refugees, an agency that has the expertise and the training to handle massive flows of refugees humanely.”

@RealSaavedra
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) says the *United Nations* must be brought in to handle the immigration crisis on America's southern border

Omar, who was accused this week of having an affair with a married man, lectured the audience about the "moral high ground."
The demand bears hallmarks of how Europe was deluged with migrants after governments were forced to accept millions of “refugees” after lobbying from international groups and NGOs.

Any such intervention by the UN would represent a direct violation of U.S. sovereignty, fundamentally weakening America’s national security.

Omar previously called for the elimination of the entire Department of Homeland Security, which was tasked with dealing with threats to the nation following 9/11.

"America must be kept American"

The reason people come to America because it is good. If it is not longer America then it will no longer be good. Simple.

The majority of every type of immigrant today votes for socialist Democrats. For example, we are filling the country with aggressive Indian socialists who take jobs Americans could have and then make sure they hire other Indians. These people do not share traditional American values of individual freedom, small government, and rule of law. Indeed, they think their culture is better than ours and have no interest in assimilating--these are colonists. In the past we had immigrants who were extremely proud to become Americans. Now we have arrogant colonists who come here to make money and look down on Americans. We need a moratorium on immigration or else we are going to lose this country to third world leftists. Send the H1-B workers back to Indian where they can stew in their own socialist mess and lack of toilets.

Most of the illegals come from nations that do not possess real democracy or any tradition at all of rule by law. Indeed, such illegals scoff at such silly notions as obeying law and following the rules.
