Lead paint has always been one of the straws the left has been grasping at to explain black faliure and disfunction. "Lead Paint in the ghetto is the reason test scores are bad!" They even made a whole episode of the original 60s Star Trek about the Lead Paint theory of black disfunction using an alien planet as an alalogy called "The Cloud Minders." Lucas saw it and used it as inspiration for Lando's City in Empire Strikes Back. Hogwash, before George Bush Jr. fiddled while the entire industrial bas was shipped off to China I used to work with lead powder in the electronics industry, I never had any elevated lead levels in my blood, I find it hard to believe some old paint layers below in a few really old houses in the hood can cause more than the very occasional rise in lead levels.
This has been studied for a long time. The colored kids are not taught right from wrong. The paint peels and the colored kids pull the peeling paint off and eat it.
