"Green Card Marriage Interview - Tips on How to Prepare"

Dear Folks,

#1  Shusterman, the source of the below article, often advises that getting married to anAmerican is the easiest way to get US citizenship.

Below Mr. Shusterman's outfit gives advice to such couples, an American and a foreigner who are wedded are planning to wed.

There are hints in the media that Ilhan Omar engaged in "marrying her brother" to get him into the US and on the path to citizenship.

#2    A TV show,  90-Day Fiancee, regularly if unintentionally, shows how
often the foreigner  is really scamming the system, getting married, to get US Citizenship. Some of it is close to hysterical,  but often the deception is very painful.

[N.S.: Recently, there was an incident where an old white man married a Filipino female half his age, and eventually killed her, hid her corpse in a freezer for a time, and ultimately committed suicide. I strongly suspect that the bride had scammed the groom.

Unfortunately, far too few Filipino designing women meet such an end. However, I do know of at least one Filipino woman, a nurse, who married a plain American of modest means, and last I heard, was still with him after over 20 years.]

Man killing the mail order bride is a rarity. Usually the other way around. Fifty year old white man marries twentyish Filipina and within one year the white man is dead. Called digitalis. The man has a heart attack. They teach the Filipina classes on that stuff before she leaves her own country. Of course the white man leaves his estate to the Filipina and nothing for his children from a prior marriage.
