A jury has been seated for the trial of Eric Boyd for his role in the Knoxville Horror.
The jury is younger than usual, many were children when the murders occurred in January 2007, and say they know little about the case.
The jury panel has seven women and five men. There are five white women, four white men, one black man, one black woman, and one hispanic woman.
There are four alternates, three white men, one white woman.
Unlike the previous trials, the jury is not sequestered and can go home every night.
For testifying against Boyd, George Thomas has had his sentenced reduced to 50 years. He will come up for parole in his late sixties. Or so we are told.
Opening statements begin at 8:30 a.m. ET Tuesday morning.

They always tell us that. He will be so old. Etc. Never seems to turn out that way.
