BREAKING NEWS! GEORGE THOMAS TESTIFYING!

Thomas is now testifying, sporting glasses.

In testimony today, Thomas is still playing down his involvement, but gives a different story from what came out at Cobbins and Thomas' trials.

Today, Thomas said he went with Boyd to kill Chris Newsom and claims his friend Cobbins didn't go. Something new, Thomas says they left Boyd alone with Channon Christian in the death house while Davidson, Cobbins, Coleman, and Thomas went somewhere for a short time.

In his statement when questioned originally, Thomas had said Davidson and Boyd took Chris Newsom away to his death. Now he says it was Boyd and himself.

I don't know if you can believe Thomas then or now, though this is the first time he has testified under oath. This is the first time anyone has testified in court to Boyd being in the Chipman Street house during the crimes.

Judge McGee sent the jury home. The defense will cross Thomas tomorrow.; Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 4:35:00 PM EDT
