Poetry is a form, not a content. What on earth would it mean for “content,” let alone “ideological content” to be “poetic.” This mook is either a professor, or imitating one, but without mockery or parody. My response follows his twit.
@KMGVictoria So far as the ideological content of pop is poetic, the epic object was overthrown by the lyrical subject during the 1970s.
