Nicholas Wade’s A Troublesome Inheritance

Every now and then the MAG (Media, Academia, Government) lets something politically incorrect
slip past the guards. The latest is Nicholas Wade’s A Troublesome Inheritance: Genes, Race and Human History. Put simply, it blows the whole human equality myth out of the water. I've blogged a lot about this particular subject, and you can see a list HERE.  I've dealt with this over and over again because this myth is largely responsible for the utterly horrible public policy decisions of the last fifty years....

Yet another gang rape by black men. Articles do not mention race of the victim but it's likely a white woman. This occurred at the University of Oregon. Police decided that the victims story was not credible, reading the account I actually agree, somewhat. Her account of the events make her sound naive and stupid more than a liar. Below are two stories re this rape.
Brandon Austin, one of the rapists, was kicked off the Providence basketball team for sexual assault. Think there might be a pattern there?
I guess the Oregon Ducks didn't think it was a problem. Now he's raped again. Jerry

It's tough for the left generally and for NYT particularly to attack this book in the usual manner of viciously smearing the author. He's one of them! He's on their team! Maybe Wade did go off the reservation a little, but I'm up to chapter 5 and have read COPIOUS qualifications on the data and analysis plus ULTRA-COPIOUS denunciation of the evils of racism. Wade clearly made sure he armored his work in anti-racism juju.

So what is the left to do? From early leftist reviews, they've hedged just like Wade (ie, this *could* be racist...)

And ultimately, he fails to state the obvious - that "culture" is a finite product of genes just as "social behavior" and intelligence are. In any case, the book moves the goalposts in a direction favorable to the race realists of the world and may ignite some real conversations about race that will make Eric Holder's head spin.
