Anchors kidnap the new york mayoral debate away from the politicians new yorkers wanted to hear
(GRA) I watched about three questions of the debate between Mamdani, Sliwa, and Cuomo and quickly became irritated at the minority hosts/questioners of the three. Their aggressive style appeared to focus on interrupting Sliwa as often as possible, letting Mamdani ramble on, with Cuomo, somewhere in the middle.
Taxes and free busing were the first two questions, followed by, "what are the main two problems in nyc?"
Sliwa said, "Rats and potholes," (I believe), Mamdani went with noise, and Cuomo mentioned garbage/rats.
A poll delivered the correct answer as "noise," which the three then attempted to provide a solution for--unsuccessfully.
Mamdani is flawless as a speaker, very smooth. Sliwa is excellent also--with attitude. Cuomo was above average--no surprise--after years as a politician.
But the debate was ruined by the black and hispanic interrupters.
They obviously thought THEY were the reason for the lights and cameras being in the studio.
All in all, a pretty worthless example of moderating a debate by that crew, in my opinion.

N.S.: New York's biggest problem is crime.

Watch as Cuomo pledges his allegiance to Islam, or is it Sikhism, with a turban on his head:

"Mamdani went with noise..." OK, he's got my vote!
Actually, it's beyond ridiculous that none of them named "crime" as the top issue- especially Sliwa! ("Rats and potholes"- good grief! Two-legged rats and pot SMOKERS would be more like it!) Although, technically, noise IS a crime- "disturbing the peace" is likely still on the books, but hasn't been enforced for over 50 years! And today, with a populace of minorities and drugged-up whites, could NEVER be enforced.
