N.S.: “NEWPORT NEWS, VA — The 6-year-old boy accused of shooting his teacher inside the classroom in Virginia will not face charges, the city's attorney, Howard Gwynn, told nbc news.

“Gwynn told NBC News that a child that young ‘wouldn’t have the competency to understand the legal system.’ He added that his office is focusing on others in the case and would charge anyone it believes committed a crime beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Gwynn lied. The perp knew to hide the gun before a school staffer searched him for it, prior to his racist hate crime attempted murder of his White teacher. He knew exactly what to do. The authorities thus issued the shooter a free attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm, and racist hate crime, all on grounds of the color of his skin. How many more heinous crimes are the authorities going to issue him, while continuing to hide his identity? How many people is he going to end up robbing, raping, maiming and murdering, before some other felon kills him?

(I sought to post the foregoing paragraph at patch: “Please use appropriate language.” I even wrote White lower-case, and refrained from writing “black.”

The patch gauleiter blocked my comment on this case, saying, “Please use appropriate language.” I have no idea what language I used was “inappropriate,” and can only conclude that the gauleiter supports the perp.

This case is reminiscent of black Dedrick Owens’ February 29, 2000 racist hate crime murder of six-year-old, White, Kayla Rolland, in Mount Morris Township, Michigan. (I couldn’t believe it was so long ago, either!) Owens came from a criminal association impersonating a family, found his uncle’s gun at home, and brought it to school. He told Kayla “I don’t like you.” When the feisty, little girl refused to show the young racist thug any fear, he shot her dead, before running out of class to hide the murder weapon in the boys’ room garbage can.

The authorities used the same counter-factual sophistry on Owens’ behalf that they would use 23 years later, on behalf of Abigail “Abby” Zwerner’s failed, would-be murderer: He was “too young to know what he was doing.”
