So they were granted asylum after arriving on small boats, then apparently a law was passed making that a crime (?), and now people already granted asylum (why?) are going to be prosecuted? -- seems very ex post facto-ish.

Sure -- I doubt any court in the UK would uphold such prosecutions.

This is what happens when a country abandons any sense of racial identity and a willingness or determination to preserve it: all kinds of ridiculous bullshit about legality and illegality ensues -- endless dumb rhetoric while facts on the ground are established.

As in USA what are they speaking about illegal immigrants. And immigrant by law and definition must be legal. Anyone else is an illegal alien.
