(GRA) Holt showed this story (rumor of Trump’s arrest) on nnn, but he had an interesting way of reporting it.
“Donald Trump—without proof—said he would be arrested tuesday.”
Then he showed Bragg getting an earful from McCarthy and company.
The pressure has been raised to extremely high on Bragg, and the way Holt parsed his words—that “Trump said—without proof,” made me think that Bragg might back down, after threats of being forced to explain his decision before congress.
Behind the scenes, battles are going on, no doubt.
At this point, it’s very possible Bragg backs down.

Trump doesn't have to show proof of anything. It is the Bragg boy that must show proof.

A 22-year-old man was sentenced Thursday in Multnomah County Circuit Court to 17 years in prison for stomping a homeless man to death in Old Town last February while wearing the same blood-splattered sneakers he used to attack another man an hour before.
Elijah Nathaniel Williams pleaded guilty Feb. 21 to the first-degree manslaughter of 46-year-old James “Tony” Wise.
Police found Wise shortly after 4 a.m. a year earlier, in a pool of blood near a tent where he was living on the sidewalk of Northwest Third Avenue between Flanders and Glisan streets, court records show.

Williams was convicted in 2015 of first-degree sexual abuse of a 6-year-old boy when he was a 15-year-old freshman at Centennial High School and served four years in juvenile prison.
No reason for his act of murder is given in any article I can find, nor any speculation or hand wringing about finding the reason for the "senseless" act. Of course, since it's yet another black on White murder, nobody much cares. Reverse the races and they'd be searching high and low for some kind of past racial bias.
Williams is only 22 yrs. old, even if he serves the full 17 yrs. he'll only be 39 yrs. old when he gets out. Still plenty young enough to molest more children and stomp more White people to death. And Derek Chauvin got 21 yrs???? Is there something about a black stomping a White to death that doesn't merit appropriate punishment? Remember Jerrell Thomas who stomped to death White man Kris Kime during the Seattle Mardi Gras race attacks? He only served 9 yrs. while none of his gang of homeys who assisted served a day in prison.
I can't find any coverage of this story outside of local reporting and even that was just the Oregonian and KGW. ABC, CBS and KATU decided it didn't merit any mention nor did any of the internet news aggregators pick it up. Only way you'd know about this one is if you lived in Portland and happened to catch it on KGW or spotted one of the 2 or 3 articles the Oregonian ran on it.
He seemed to be downplaying it,as if he had inside info.We'll see.
