In ireland, sex crimes have exploded since 2011; is it something in the water? politician avoids the obvious, in seeking to explain it

Huge increase in sex crimes in ireland since 2011. Peadar Toibín TD (teachta dála, roughly equivalent to mp/member of parliament/mp in the united kingdom) blames pornography, not the huge influx of third-world males. How stupid does this Toibin think people are?

>blames pornography

Well, not really -- or rather that seems to be a somewhat unfair characterization or exaggeration.

Did you read the report linked to by Breitbart?

https://gript.ie/75-increase-in-sexual-offences-since-2011-40-rise-in-domestic-violence-call-outs-in-3-years/

He seems to mention porn mostly in the context of the government's failure to make illegal the 'standalone offence of non-fatal strangulation' (never heard of that), which he suggests is present in porn, as well as take steps to make sure kids cannot access porn -- he implies similar steps have already been taken in France:

[Yet the government has refused to follow the lead of the French Government or the Aontú Bill which would stop the provision of these materials to children,” he said.]

He then says sentences for domestic violence in Ireland are too lenient.

Probably migrants have contributed to the rise -- increased efforts to collect data, perhaps to comply with EU regulations (?), may also be a factor.

Here is a relevant comment from the source Breitbart uses:

[Great caution has to be exercised here; in particular the claim that rape and sexual assault are on a steep rise. This does not take account of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act of 2017 and how this greatly extended the definition of rape and impacted on the figures generally.

A definition of Consent was given in that Act, which gives a long list of conditions; ...]

So maybe a 2017 law is also part of the reason for the reported increase.

But Ireland doesn't need those fucking migrants whether they commit sex crimes or not.

To do this to your country is treason--administer the antidote.

Import of foreign nationals from nations of the less desirable sort. That is my take.

I would reasonably expect the usual suspects.
