IN NEW ACADEMY AWARDS CATEGORY.JAMIE LEE CURTIS WINS FOR "BEST BOOBS IN A COMEDY".
GRA:The Oscahs aired last night and I flipped the show on only for one segment,which turned out to be a new,controversial,titillating category that the men,at least,seemed to like.
(CNN&GRA)Jamie Lee Curtis has won her first Oscar, going a step further than her movie star parents who were both nominated for an Academy Award.
The Hollywood actress, who is the famous offspring of "Psycho" star Janet Leigh and "Some Like It Hot" actor Tony Curtis, took home the award for "Best Boobs Exposed in a Feature Film Comedy",that comedy being 1985's "Trading Places",which also starred Dan Ackroyd,Eddie Murphy,Walter Bellamy and Don Ameche.
She beat out Ann Margaret for 1971's "Carnal Knowledge",Angie Dickinson/"Big Bad Mama" and Halle Berry for 2001's "Monster's Ball".
The Oscar category,a carefully kept secret,apparently drew the wrath of Cher and Twiggy,but the men viewing the proceedings,thought the idea would help "sagging ratings,"as Woody Allen so eloquently stated on Twitter.
