I jumped into the game just at the end of the second quarter. Watched the half-time show that featured “Rihanna” alone, and nobody else.
Usually, they have a singer or singers with more cross-cultural appeal but decided this year to go strictly black. I only recognized one song she played, which was, “I Found Love in a Lonely Place,” a song that is a rip-off of the Adam Levine/Maroon 5’s “She Will be Loved.”
I’m not a fan of either artist but have heard the songs on the radio and I do have an ear for music, so I noticed the similarity.
Nothing else Rihanna sang even had an actual melody, it’s just typical black music of today in which there is no melodic structure, just rambling, half-mumbling “songs” heavy on beats and bass. It appears the only way she can write a decent melody, is if she steals it from somebody else.
Her backup dancers, of whom there were a small army prancing around on stage, were dressed up in billowy outfits that made their sexes unrecognizable, though 90% appeared to be black, which I think was some kind of sex-neutral, political statement.
It was the most boring half-time super bowl show I’ve ever seen. Considering how bad many of them have been, that’s saying a lot.

A black in Arizona? That's about as common as a spic in Montana.

Recalling Rush Limbaugh comments when the NFL decided to give Jay Z a prime role in planning entertainment. Hilariously referred to him as "Mr. Z".

Occurrences of the species are confirmed from time to time. Always the species noted for aggressiveness and resorting to fang and claw.
