Dilbert is right 100% right I agree with Dilbert completely without qualification a reservation, and I am proud to do so

No surprise, Bottomly is a woke ideologue who dropped readers comments using the same kind of reasoning. The Oregonian has been far left now for 50 yrs. due to a succession of liberal democrat editors. Most editors or the Oregonian have been male, though in the 90's we had Sandra Mims Rowe who also pushed the paper leftward but Bottomly has taken it to a new level by scrubbing out any last vestiges of objective reporting.
Like I always say: Woke men are bad enough, woke women are worse.
This hysteria about Scott Adams and his views on black people makes me think back to a comedy special Chris Rock did several years ago. In it he was doing a bit examining people complaining that the media's bias toward black people created a false stereotype about blacks.
"When I'm alone at 2 a.m. on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Harlem it's not the media I'm worried about, " Rock said.

I watched the video where Dilbert makes his comments and what's interesting is that in the context of his comments he cites a video that says nearly 50% of blacks refuse to say it's OK to be White. In the feeding frenzy to virtue signal and condemn Adams, the survey and what it suggests is being completely ignored. A reader posted a pretty good comment. Here it is:

Derbyshire said that about 10% of blacks in his experience or ferociously opposed to white people there additionally is about another 50% of blacks they grudgingly agree whitey must’ve had it coming to receive a bad reception
It is not so much what Adams said it is that he has the right to say whatever he wants without censure.
Even if Adams 100 % wrong he still has the right to say what he did.
Exactly.Others should not have the power to try to shut him up--just as Rosanne was similarly squelched.
What a great country we would have,where WHITE actors,WHITE cartoonists,WHITE comics,WHITE politicians,WHITE regular people,could state an opinion without fear of job loss or vicious attack and threats.Exchanging ideas,knowing there were no repercussions.
We're halfway there--blacks can do that--but they have nothing worthwhile to listen to.Whites,of course,USED to have that right,up to about 6 years ago--right about the time Trump took the office.
