who or what is a “Sam Brinton,” and what’s it doing stealing a $2,325 Vera Bradley suitcase at the airport?

Brinton serves as the doe’s deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition, but apparently moonlights in petty theft, though a suitcase that expensive might actually be a little more serious. Another question I have is, who the heck is so hung up over a brand-name suitcase they spend over 2K for one? Especially one that is going to be left out in the open in airports where any non- binary thief could get its hands on it.

Brinton claims he “accidentally” took the wrong suitcase...yeah right, and it was just coincidence it was an obscenely overpriced, designer brand.

I’ve seen some scary looking “non-binaries,” but this one is going to give me nightmares. Imagine the effect on little kids?
