jerry pdx A class action suit is being filed because Apple's watch with a blood oximeter has a "racial bias" against people with darker skin tones: https://www.foxbusiness.com/technology/apple-faces-class-action-lawsuit-alleging-racial-bias-watchs-blood-oximeter
Here are a couple of excerpts from the lawsuit:
"For decades, there have been reports that such devices were significantly less accurate in measuring blood oxygen levels based on skin color," the lawsuit reads.
"The 'real world significance' of this bias lay unaddressed until the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic, which converged with a greater awareness of structural racism which exists in many aspects of society."
Has this watch been out for decades? Oh, it says "such devices" so this one is guilty by association...or something like that I guess. Does anybody believe this BS? I sure don't.
Didn't there used to be some kind of punishment for frivolous lawsuits? Let me guess, they had to do away with it because just about every race based lawsuit is basically without merit so therefore frivolous, and there's too many Woke ideologues in the justice system to let that happen. Besides, more work justifies more of our tax money being taken out of our pockets to support judges, lawyers and other parasites that are busy letting real criminal go while obsessing over race/diversity crap.
I am a dissident journalist, whose work has been published in dozens of daily newspapers, magazines, and journals in English, German, and Swedish, under my own name and many pseudonyms. While living in internal exile in New York, where I am whitelisted, I maintain NSU/The Wyatt Earp Journalism Bureau and some eight other blogs (some are distinctive but occasional venues, while others are mirrors), and also write for stout-hearted men such as Peter Brimelow and Jared Taylor. The judge should say,"Ho,ho,ho" and "No,no,no"--in either order--to that case.
