“W”: I was watching the game then, and the replay clearly showed that the umpire was right. The ball was in fair territory near homeplate and the stupid pitcher [Taijuan Walker] didn’t field it, allowing Pirates baserunners to score while he argued with the umpire.

I don't miss baseball.Nearly the end of July and it's out of my system.Congrats are in order to Rob Manfred for making woke decisions that removed any possibility of my being interested again. Also,he and other idiots in the upper echelon of the commissioner's office, for their continued push to open the floodgates and let--what seems like--the entire population of Mexico and Central America into the country to ruin the game for fans who liked to root for American born players.

Would anyone object(I think there would be some complaints)if we allowed 300 Japanese players in to play American baseball next season? A lineup of Matasuis,Yokanowas,Hiroshimas and Fukushimas. We'd accept that?Even an announcer named Hari Kari?Maybe some fans would, but let's hope, most would not.

The bottom line is,it's just another area that's been destroyed by globalism.
