By David in TN Jessie Lee Cooks died a few days ago in his prison hospice bed. Cooks was caught a few months before the others, literally red-handed in the act. He confessed, probably in order to cover for his partners.
Because he confessed, the noi didn’t pay for his defense attorney. An attorney was provided for him by the state. Cooks may have been the worst among those who were caught, which is saying something. Many, if not most, of the participants in the worst racial murder spree ever were never arrested.

Forty five years,living off our dime.He should have been hacked to death like one of the vics was killed.

For a simple man of simple mind Jesse Lee lived a relatively nice life in prison. About his speed and level of station in life.
Jesse Lee too a rather ugly human being. Outside and inside both.
