In new york post Non-Report on a Murder, the post Operative or His Editor Withheld the Most Important Facts

“Isaiah Stokes is facing second degree murder and weapons possession charges.”

By Nicholas Stix

The most salient fact we know about murder defendant Isaiah Stokes isn’t that he has acted in Law & Order, Boardwalk Empire, and Power, but that he is a member of the black supremacist murder cult, the nation of islam.

This goes beyond “burying the lede” to “disppearing the lede.”

A real headline would go something like this:

“Suspected Member of the Nation of Islam Indicted for Broad Daylight Execution Murder in Queens Last Winter.” The reporter, Jesse O’Neill, would have asked Queens D.A. Melinda Katz or her press rep what she thought about the noi connection, what, if any connection the decedent, Tyrone Jones, 37, had to Stokes, 41, and why the DA’s Office undercharged Stokes with second-degree murder. This was not an act of passion, but a cool, pre-meditated execution, i.e., Murder One.

This Post "thing" goes beyond buryng the lede to "disappearing" it. A friend observed, "It makes sense, considering we live in an age of no 5Ws."

“Actor Who Appeared on Law and Order Indicted for Brazen NYC Murder.”

Not only should these news organizations be ashamed or embarrassed of this type of reporting(it's of course, condoned)but the FCC needs to get involved and investigate the fabrications or lack of honest reporting being done--with punishment in the form of everything from suspensions of the reporters to suspensions of licenses required to broadcast(at least on TV.)

I'd assume zero licenses are needed for newspapers, but in most jobs, performance is the number one factor for keeping your job.An impartial person or persons could decide that in 10 seconds, with the purpose of such oversight,to see that the level of reporting be raised so that the intended reason we have freedom of the press---to get the truth--is carried out.

The crime was apparently caught on surveillance camera. No information as of yet on the connection between the victim and suspect.

The suspect, age 41, is not a "teen." The victim was 37.
