GRA: I don’t care one whit about her opinion. I have the link and copied a small portion of the article here that I felt needed a brief comment.

[GRA: WHOSE disinformation? Depends which side you’re advocating.

N.S.: To extend GRA’s point, if there is no objectivity, there is no information. And if there is no information, there is no disinformation.]

“In an interview with The Stanford Daily, Stanford journalism professor, Ted Glasser, insisted that journalism needed to ‘free itself from this notion of objectivity to develop a sense of social justice.’ He rejected the notion that the journalism is based on objectivity and said that he views ‘journalists as activists because journalism at its best — and indeed history at its best — is all about morality.’ Thus, ‘Journalists need to be overt and candid advocates for social justice, and it’s hard to do that under the constraints of objectivity.’”

GRA: If there’s no objectivity, how do you find the truth about anything? Is the President a criminal, insane, or mentally deficient?How do you find out those facts when most of the media has a vendetta against him (as with Trump), or has decided to put blinders on (as with Biden).

What kind of condition is the city you live in? If black crime is censored and not reported, only word of mouth will allow you to know what streets you can safely walk on. What’s the truth about any kind of pandemic? What’s true? These days, there’s no one on MSM to trust about vaccines OR the dangers of a Delta variant.

Get the facts, report the facts—very simple. Without that philosophy, Americans have absolutely no reason to watch any news program.

N.S.; I was about to hang “The Suicide of the Journalists” on this as a title, but then I realized: Nikole Hannah-Jones, Steve Coll, and Ted Glasser all have academic sinecures. They didn’t commit suicide, they committed institutional homicide for others.
