I watched the testimony of George Thomas on live stream by Court TV. As always, Thomas played down his own involvement. He makes the atmosphere inside the death house seem placid. He claims to have never heard either victim say anything, cry out, fight back.
Thomas now says Cobbins didn’t go with him and Boyd to kill Chris Newsom.
Previously, he had said Davidson went with Thomas. Thomas puts all crimes against Chris Newsom on Boyd.
Thomas’ account of Newsom’s death doesn’t fit the way the body was found, no pants or shoes. Thomas has Newsom clothed.

Negroes by and large are so dumb they cannot even remember their own lies. Especially when so much time has elapsed as it has since the commission of the crime.

The cross examination of George Thomas was not as extensive as expected. Eric Boyd's attorney just went over what Thomas said, or didn't say the day before. Again, Thomas didn't see or hear much of anything.
The mothers of the victims testified, the eight trial they have done so. Deena Christian and Mary Newsom told of the last time they saw their children.
Former Knox County Sheriff Jimmy Jones described questioning Vanessa Coleman, LeTalvis Cobbins, and George Thomas in Kentucky in January 2007. Jones thought Thomas was most truthful, but "you never get the whole truth, ever."
Daphne Sutton, "ringleader" Lemaricus Davidson's girlfriend testified she thought there was another woman in the bathroom of the Chipman house. Davidson gave her some of Channon Christian's clothes. Today on the stand, Sutton cried upon seeing them.
This never happened before when Sutton testified. She said she knew Boyd and pointed to him at the defense table.
Tomorrow the medical examiner will testify. There will be gruesome photos of the victims and description of the agonizing torture inflicted on them.
