Whenever you think you've read the worst possible news about nyc, you learn that it's still worse than that
I just read that 38% of nyc is foreign-born, and 25% can't speak English. What the hell kind of city is THAT?

N.S.: Officially, nyc has 8.8 million "residents," with 2.4 million hispanics, app. two million blacks, and only 2.7 million White non-hispanics. But in reality, it has more like 9.8 million residents, with at least three million hispanics, over two million blacks, and the same 2.7 million White non-hispanics. The census bureau claims that it's down for maintenance.
