Michigan State Police are searching for the driver of a white Infiniti SUV who allegedly fired shots at another vehicle on I-696 near Woodward Avenue on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 4.
The road rage incident, which resulted in the freeway being shut down for an hour, happened at around 5:20 p.m. when the driver of the other vehicle, who was traveling westbound on I-696, called to report that the Infiniti's driver pointed a firearm out the window and fired two shots toward their vehicle, according to state police.
The vehicle wasn't struck by the bullets and there were no reported injuries, MSP said.
The Infiniti was reportedly in the center lane and the other vehicle was in the far left lane.
State police shut down the freeway for about an hour and conducted a canine sweep. However, no evidence was found and the investigation is continuing, state police said.
“There is never a reason to settle a dispute with a firearm,” Michigan State Police First Lt. Mike Shaw said in a statement, “especially over something as simple as a driving error. If you find yourself involved in a situation with someone who is out of control while driving, just create some distance and call 911.”

I say let them keep doing it. It's natural selection. It's better these idiots get killed now than grow up to be airplane pilots, train or bus drivers, or anything pertaining to public safety.

I'm sure the fix for this is Mamdani making the subways free of charge. And Trump's screw-brained notion that something from the federal government is going to make the New York subways great again. (Thank God he had a momentary lapse into sanity and is withholding public projects money from NY for the time being).
