St. Louis: cops ready to give nEGRO--who crashed his car into a parked one--a ticket, but he dead--shot in the head

"(kdsk 5) St. Louis — a man was shot and killed early wednesday morning in south St. Louis.

"according to the St. Louis metropolitan police department, officers responded at about 5 a.m. to a shooting at Bingham avenue and south 37th street in the city's dutchtown neighborhood. they arrived to find a man with gunshot wounds inside a crashed car that had struck a parked pickup truck.

"ems responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene, and homicide detectives assumed the ongoing investigation, police said.

"The man was later identified as 44-year-old Kenneth Edwards of St. Louis."
