Hyped Xi/Trump meeting netted very little
GRA: From everything I've read about the meeting--which had stock markets rising and falling on rumors of it taking place or not--the net result looks to be "a one year truce" on tariffs.
Some kind of nebulous deal was agreed to on rare earth metals(to what extent is not known).
P.T. has a great talent for can kicking--and putting lipstick on it--to call it "a crisis averted."
Along with everything else fake--a fake deal.

Of course it netted very little. There's very little common ground to agree on anything. But unfortunately he seems to enjoy going through the motions and then painting a happy face on it.
Better that he was with Xi instead of, say, doing a post-hurricane sympathy visit to Puerto Rico. No trillion dollars of aid thrown at the corrupt P.R. money pit. I'm still surprised that Biden didn't ram through PR and DC statehood when he had the chance.
In a better world, Trump would offer the Danes a swap. The tropical paradise of Puerto Rico for Greenland. On the doorstep of winter weather, here's your chance. The Danes might be naive enough to take the deal.
