(sky news)A young woman who lives nearby added: "This area is not safe at night. There are a lot of teenage boys that cause a lot of trouble who live around here.

"They hang around at night, play around with the cops. Things like playing with fireworks and running from the police."

The killing is the first fatal shooting in London so far this year.

There were 13 fatal shootings in 2024 out of a total of 105 homicides recorded by the Metropolitan Police.

GENE HACKMAN'S WIFE DIED FIRST--OF HANTAVIRUS(MOUSE POOP DISEASE);MR.HACKMAN LASTED A WEEK AFTERWARDS

(Cnn)Santa Fe, New Mexico- Gene Hackman died due to hypertensive atherosclerosis cardiovascular disease, with Alzheimers as a significant contributing factor, New Mexico officials confirmed Friday. He was likely alone in the home for about a week, until he died around February 18th, which was the last time activity was recorded on his pacemaker.


His wife, Betsy (Arakawa) Hackman, died due to Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, which is transmitted from animals to humans and is commonly found in rodents, the New Mexico Department of Health confirmed. Betsy's autopsy determined the manner of death as natural. Authorities believe Betsy died on about Feb. 11.

Chief Medical Investigator Dr. Heather Jarrell performed a full autopsy on Hackman the day after his body was discovered, which showed "severe heart disease, including multiple surgical procedures involving the heart, evidence of prior heart attacks, and severe changes of the kidneys due to chronic high blood pressure."
