It was always available over the counter, though intended for use on animals- your horse doesn't need a prescription to take it! Unless Arkansas has different laws, this story is screwy.

How can that be? Didn't Gov. Sanders read Ann Coulter's tweet of April 28, 2022 where she linked to a New York Times article saying that ivermectin failed as a covid treatment. Ann even said that "smart New York City doctors... told me this at least a year ago."
The New York Times! "Smart" New York City doctors! Ann Coulter! I'm impressed! I'm dazzled! And clotted. And my-oh-myocarditic.
