N.S.: That crime was committed before, by an anarchist philosophy professor, who was issued free crimes. At a 2017 free speech rally, Eric Clanton hit seven people with a heavy bicycle lock, and was charged with four felonies. However, the prosecutor threw out most of the charges, issued Clanton free crimes, and gave him only probation.
