As far as the government goes,whatever they say is true--even when it isn't.
Fake money,fake economic statistics,fake fixes. When the stock market collapses,THAT,you'll be able to believe.

But....! If you have a $2.5 Trillion yearly deficit, DOGE gets less than half the job. I love what they're doing but it's a backward approach, coming at it from the wastefraudabuse (careful, that phrase is sounding trite from overuse) question. The right way is chainsaw first, fix up the rough edges later.
At some point someone has to stand up and say "Sorry, but FDR and LBJ and yes, even DJT, and everyone else lied to you about your so-called Entitlement." Who is that someone? At this point, I'm betting on a nameless faceless bureaucrat who tells you that your monthly government check has been converted to some post-America UN digital currency. You get a new EBT card, too.
