JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT/Gray News) - A woman in Jackson is accused of killing her husband, according to authorities.
Rashaan Wallace, 30, made her initial appearance, where she was charged with murder.
Police said Wallace shot her husband 33-year-old Damion Reed after he allegedly attacked her.
Detectives say Reed had access to her social media account and was upset about a friend request she had made.
Wallace allegedly fired a warning shot when Reed approached her. After he refused to back down, she allegedly shot and killed him.
Wallace, a licensed practical nurse, performed CPR on her husband and called 911.

She is currently being held at the Hinds County Detention Center in Raymond.
Her bond was set at $50,000.
