He got his vehicle repossessed because he most likely had gone months without making payments.
Lenders don't want the vehicle back.
They already are dealing with a glut of repossessed vehicles.

A Hispanic New Mexican told me that buying on time for people like him meant he had to make all the payments and THEN would be allowed to take the merchandise home. The merchants knew that if they let the merchandise be taken away into the mountains of Northern New Mexico, they would never see the merchandise nor any payments. That was a few decades ago--I don't know if this is still how business is conducted north of Santa Fe.
YEP. Repo driver very dangerous job. Repo guy is lucky he is alive.
