N.S.: How long before we start hearing such warnings against traveling to certain parts of the country formerly known as "America"? Then again, we've had no-go zones for 60 years.

My buddy,in the last week has found himself in a couple situations that NEVER would have happened 10 years ago in G.R.in this area.
He lives out of town,but comes in to visit his folks.
Last week,he went to a Westside Burger King.There was a long line at drive-thru,so he went inside to order.Almost immediately,an employee came running out from behind the counter,screaming,"Lock the doors,lock the doors!"
My friend asked what's going on?
"A situation in drive-thru."
Someone else then asked to use the bathroom,to which they were told,"They're LOCKED--customers can't use the bathrooms anymore."
Too many junkies going in an shooting up and/or O.D.ing.I've read about many of them,but it must be much worse than we could possibly have guessed,to have restaurants lock up the toilets.
He then said,"I want out--I'm not hungry anymore--let me go to my car and get out of here."
So they unlocked the door and he went home.
Nothing on the news related to the incident,but you can guess,a black was threatening the employee at the window.
Today,something that WAS on the news:A couple of shootings,that he said occurred 5 minutes after he drove near Muskegon street--about 1 pm.
This is a mixed to majority black area,which used to be 100% White 15 years ago.
Now,if you drive down streets in this area,day or night,you might be the victim--of the reverse of the usual drive-by shooting scenario--YOU get shot driving in your car--not while in the house--BY a thug driver.They get you both ways these days.

Ethnic Mex kidnapping other ethnic Mex I suspect. The media likes to say "Americans" kidnapped. More like American passport holder that is ethnic Mex.
