N.S.: The killers are 18-year-old Artemio Maldonado and 20-year-old Azucena Sanchez. Sanchez was having a custody dispute with her ex-boyfriend, and had made multiple threats to her ex-boyfriend, so naturally she gets her current boyfriend (who confessed to cops, though "wfaa staff" says, merely, "Maldonado admitted to shooting all four victims" to the murders; in English, that's called a confession) to go with her to burglarize the ex' apartment. Even though Sanchez' child is just an infant, the burglars assumed the apartment would be empty. but it wasn't, and Sanchez' ex-boyfriend and the other three weren't happy about being burglarized, and so the only thing to do, according to mex logic, was to kill them. But they didn't slaughter the baby.
