I hope the guy wasn't shot in the "no firearms allowed" section of the bus.That will mean extra prison time for the perp(sarcasm overflowing here.)

I grew up in rural Montgomery County, Maryland. My mother didn't drive and so sometimes she would take me and my sister on the bus to Silver Springs to shop. I don't recall seeing any blacks on the bus and always felt perfectly safe. Times have changed. I read about the crime in Silver Springs, the rural area is all developed and it looks like lots of blacks live there now. When I lived there, the only blacks I saw were the black and white cows which sometimes got loose from the neighbors and wandered into our yard. I remember my mother proclaiming, "A cow was looking in the kitchen window at me!"
