(USAToday)Al Roker has been away from the "Today" show after suffering from blood clots.

The longtime weather anchor, 68, announced on Instagram that he's been hospitalized for some "medical whack-a-mole" and is now on the mend.

"Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs," he wrote on an Instagram post Friday which included a bouquet of flowers and an NBC mug. "I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers and hope to see you soon."

Al Roker has that goofy persona but he's really a racist at heart (aren't they all), he wrote in his book about a "shocking on air racist comment" by a colleague, Doug Adair, who told Roker mid broadcast "One of your people attacked me", referring to a black homeless man. Seriously, that's the worst racist story Roker can come up with? Let us sit back and have a moment of silence as we ponder the gravity of that horrifying incident. Roker actually addresses that, in a way, but reality is, it was nothing and Mr. Adair was actually being perfectly reasonable pointing out that those kind of racist attacks on Whites happen all the time. But Al does not address that, he just paints Mr. Adair as a racist. Of course, if a White had attacked a black on the street it would have been perfectly reasonable for Roker or any other black to say something that inaccurately portrayed it as a pattern of White violence against blacks. We weren't there and Mr. Adair may well have said it in a facetious way but I wouldn't be surprised if Roker left that out. Don't let that jovial facade fool you, he's just as much a vicious racist liar as Lesta in his own way.

Doug Adair passed away in 2019, Roker's 13th book where he accused him of making a racist comment was released in 2020. Gotta love how he waited until the guy was dead before putting it out there so he couldn't defend himself. What a snake.

You know,Al Roker isn't even a meteorologist.I had thought that was the case,but looked it up yesterday and he has zero education in weather forecasting.
Another AA type of job the nbc execs give out to blacks,I guess.

He appears on "negro nightly news" as some kind of expert,but knows nothing,except for what the teleprompter says.A worthless employee,actually
