GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was killed and three more were injured in a shooting in downtown Grand Rapids early Sunday, police say.
It happened around 12:15 a.m. along Pearl Street NW between Monroe and Ottawa avenues.
The Grand Rapids Police Department says that one man died at the scene. His name wasn’t immediately released pending notification of family.
Three other men were taken to hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
An initial release from GRPD did not say what led up to the shooting.

MORE NIG CHAOS--3 DEAD,17 WOUNDED IN CHATTANOOGA "BARFIGHT".
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three people were killed, and 17 others were injured in a shooting that occurred near a bar in Chattanooga, Tennessee, early Sunday morning.
Officers were dispatched shortly before 3 a.m. for a shooting call near a bar. According to Chattanooga police, 14 people were shot and three victims attempting to flee the scene were struck by vehicles.
Chief of Police Celeste Murphy says two victims died of gunshot wounds and another died from injuries that were sustained after being struck by a vehicle. Chattanooga police say several victims remain in critical condition. In a press conference, officers revealed that 16 of the victims are adults and one is a juvenile.
Officers believe there are multiple shooters involved in the incident but state there is no threat to public safety at this time. (GRA:Not unless you run into the nigs,lol.)
Earlier in the night, gunfire killed three people and wounded at least 11 others in a popular downtown Philadelphia entertainment district late Saturday night, authorities said. No arrests have been made in this shooting.

1 dead, 8 injured in shooting amid fight at Phoenix strip mall
(usatoday)PHOENIX — Nine people were shot, one of whom was fatally wounded, after an altercation between multiple parties in Phoenix escalated early Saturday morning, according to police.
The shooting took place at a strip mall at about 1 a.m. in north Phoenix, both inside the building and in a nearby parking lot and roadway area.

The incident left one 14-year-old girl dead, police said.
Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Williams told reporters nine people he characterized as young adults were taken to hospitals after the late-night shooting sent people running.
One female died after being transported to a local hospital. Another female, five males and a teenage boy face injuries. Police said at least two of the injured victims were in critical condition.
Information about injuries to the ninth victim was not immediately available.
Phoenix police work the scene of a shooting on June 4, 2022, that took place overnight and left nine shot and at least one dead at North 10th Avenue and West Hatcher Road.
Williams said it appeared that a handgun was used after an argument erupted among those gathered for what he termed “some sort of party.”
“Many rounds were shot into this crowd of people as everyone fled the area,” he said.
In an interview posted by ABC 15, Williams said no suspects were immediately identified and no arrests were made while authorities pieced together witness accounts.
Victims' ages ranged from about 17 to 24, according to police.
Officials announced before 9 a.m. on Saturday that a road near the strip mall would be closed while detectives process the area and look for witnesses and evidence.
The shooting in north Phoenix follows several high-profile mass shootings in recent weeks. Ten people were killed at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York, on May 14. Last week, 19 students and two teachers died in a shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. And on Wednesday, four people were killed a medical building in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Meanwhile on Thursday, President Joe Biden called on Congress to pass sweeping gun control legislation.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The victim of an early morning shooting in downtown Grand Rapids has been identified.
Armonie Acklin, a 25-year-old man from Grand Rapids, has been identified to News 8 by his family as the victim who was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning.
Officers with the Grand Rapids Police Department responded to Pearl Street NW between Monroe Avenue and Ottawa Avenue around 12:15 a.m. Sunday after receiving reports of a shooting involving multiple victims.
Police found one person dead at the scene and three others with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
A candlelight vigil was held in Wyoming Sunday evening with family and friends of Acklin.
Acklin’s mother, Brenda Bables, described him as a caring young man and said he was downtown helping someone the night of the shooting.
She said they haven’t heard from police and only know details of what happened from other people.
“A fight broke out and he was trying to help break up the fight and then the fight was over and someone pulled out a gun and shot him, as far as we know,” Bables said.

Bables said her son leaves behind three young kids with another baby on the way.
“Just an all-around beautiful young man that’s just gone too soon,” she said.
Acklin’s motorcycle club, Rep Yo City 616 Ryders, paid tribute to their friend at the vigil.
“He was just an all-around a great person, a great dad (and) just wanted to do the best that he could do,” fellow member Barrid Green said.
The shooting is still under investigation.
