Caught the remake with Lady Ga Ga, it was terrible except for the music. A remake is always compared with what came before and how do you make a story like that fresh again? I have to admit, despite the fact Lady Ga Ga promotes lesbianism in young girls and used it as a marketing device early on in her career, she can sing. Her vocal performances were the only thing that made the movie tolerable.
