Waukesha is Only 3.5% black, but It Has a black police chief

At the link, one sees that Waukesha, WI has a black police chief – per the US Census, Waukesha is only 3.5% black (and nearly 80% “White alone, not Hispanic or Latino”)—link

Call me narrow-minded, but I doubt Daniel Thompson was the best qualified person who applied for the job of police chief in Waukesha WI (not that he is unqualified) – with little doubt, he was hired because he’s black and the White city officials needed some media diversity pokemon points – even though Waukesha is only 3.5% black.

N.S.: I’ll say it: He’s unqualified. The ideal number of blacks, at all levels, in any police department is zero.
