Within certain demographics, holiday celebrations, funerals, etc. can be very dangerous. A lot of people together at the same time with animosity between some of them. Can lead to bang-bang someone day-ed.

Mexican conversation at Thanksgiving(traditional):

Juan:"Pass the turkey..."
Pedro:"Pass the turkey,WHAT?"
Juan:"Pass the turkey or I'll KEEL YOU!"

Guess Pedro didn't pass the turkey.
