I wrote this song about the Waukesha hate crime, for the same reason I wrote about the murder in San Francisco (The “Girl Named Goo” song)—this pi**ed me off.
WAUKESHA (sung to “Galveston”)
Waukesha, oh Waukesha,
You have lost your once great city, To a negro--such a pity, Six were killed in all, That day in Waukesha.
Waukesha, oh Waukesha, I still hear the people crying, And we watched White people dying. nig broke the law, That day in Waukesha.
I can see him, walking out of ja-il, Got into—drove his SUV, And he was after you and me— On the street, no place—where we could run.
Waukesha, oh Waukesha, Every day is very trying, Filthy nig—he should be frying, For what he’s done—to all of us—which we all saw—in Waukesha... ...in Waukesha.
