A fox news report today (Wednesday) on the deadly DUI crash.
“Former [sic] Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs was driving 156 mph just seconds before colliding with another vehicle on Tuesday, killing one person, prosecutors said during Ruggs’ first court appearance on Wednesday.”
[N.S.: He wasn’t “former [sic] Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver” at the time. He was, simply, “Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs.” The Raiders didn’t release him until hours later. Alleged news reporters do this all the time. They describe someone at time X, by reference to his status at time Y.]
“The former Alabama standout, wearing a neck brace and seated in a wheelchair, appeared in court on Wednesday [David in TN: Neck brace? Who does he think he is, Ted Kennedy?]
“Chief Deputy District Attorney Eric Bauman alleged that Ruggs was driving at a speed of 156 mph just two seconds before the crash, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. His speed dropped to 127 mph when the Corvette’s airbags deployed.”
“‘I cannot recall a speed that high in my career on the bench,’ Justice of the Peace Joe Bonaventure said, via the Review-Journal.”
David in TN: Ruggs had a loaded gun. His blood-alcohol level was more than double the legal limit, and he had “signs of impairment.” Ruggs and his girlfriend were not seriously injured. The victim, Tina Tintor, 23, and her dog in the back seat, were burned to death.

I guess they can retrieve this and other telemetry data from the vehicle – so a full impact with another car at 127 mph and no serious injuries – that’s an advertisement for airbags.
Fotos show the front of the Corvette was completely destroyed.
N.S.: Let us not take these killers, who burned a young woman and her beloved dog alive, lightly; they represent the best of the black community.
Henry Ruggs was a star nfl wide receiver, who was not playing the field. He was out with his girlfriend, Kiara Washington, head of marketing for the Raiders, who is the unwed mother of his bastard child. If Washington had not been with Ruggs, who knows how much more he might have had to drink, and how much faster he might have driven.
And the new story that Ruggs’ people are spinning, is that Kiara Washington was seriously wounded. However, I am unaware of them expressing remorse for Ruggs and Washington’s vics.
Of course, Tina Tintor will not be having any children, bastard or legitimate.

I said in a previous comment that the surname Tintor is most common in Serbia -- and it turns out she is an immigrant:

So even this case is yet another example of the random crime, random mystery meat foreigner victim phenomenon, which shows the density of immigrants in many US urban areas.
Definite hint of a trashy, underclass vibe in her fotos.
