AC: The bill also contains money (I think $10 million - $20 million) for the CDC to study “gun violence.” The purpose of the study, of course, is to come up with a bogus scientific rationalization for a variety of rights-stripping proposals already in the works. Just about every year, Dems try to fund a CDC study of guns, and the NRA twists arms until GOPers stop it. That battle appears to have been lost now.
The notion that an agency created to stop the spread of biological diseases should be “studying” gun ownership is ludicrous on its face – but it is part of a propaganda technique discovered by Dems in polling research 30 years ago – namely, that people trust what doctors say. So they’re putting “doctors” in the lead of gun control advocacy to pretend that gun ownership is a public health issue.
N.S.: A bunch of racial socialists with medical degrees have a Twitter account named “Stay in Your Own Lane,” I believe. It’s clogged up with the usual lies. I tried debating them a couple of years ago, but they permablocked me, and deleted all of my twits.

Correct. They will categorize gun deaths as a public safety issue as a pandemic and take extraordinary measures to remove firearms from the hands of law-abiding citizens.
