Turns out it is common for one to lose immunity to measles (and Whooping cough). If you got vaccinated as a child, it might be a good idea to get a blood test done (takes minutes) to see if you are still immune.

If you are an old whitey guy such as myself and had both mumps and measles as I did when I was a kid you are good to go. Those who had the vaccine without ever having contracted the illness watch out!!
